Portfolio: Alton Towers

Scarefest: Halloween 2007

Designed graphical style, interface and functionality. Worked on microsite build with inhouse flash developer. Designed how the animations would work within flash and transfering the graphics from photoshop to flash. The result was an exact match from static Photoshop files to a fully working flash site.

The concept was devised with inhouse creative director and copywriter.Freelanced for Together Agency 3 from November 2006 to August 2007. Based in Nottingham city.

Alton Towers Website

The website project commenced January 2007 and went live at the end of March 2007. I continued to work on promostional interactrive material until end of August 2007. I was lead designer on the site thorugh to its completion ensuring style consistency.

The site contained a lot of flash video and animation to bring elements such as the rides and waterpark alive. I sourced footage and worked within flash with flash devloper to create media assets.

The samples are the original files that were signed off to be built so they contain sample video for illustration purposes and are not the final animations the rest of the static graphics are exactly the same as went live.

Alton Towers Website Pitch

I was brought in to work on pitch designs with inhouse designer. I designed the home page animations putting together a sample flash page and also the graphics and animations for the hotels sample page.

These graphics helped take the pitch into the second round of meetings.
